I hate the "About" section of a website

I'm never quite sure what I'm supposed to write or how detailed I should be.


So, what do you want to know about me?

I suppose you’re wondering what qualifies me as an expert at influence, persuasion and branding.

I know a lot of guys who’ve built a successful brand and think that makes them an expert, and maybe it does. But I don’t know many people who’ve done it multiple times in unrelated industries.

With that in mind, here's what you need to know about me...




I have no idea how to "get rich quick". I've never made a million dollars working from a coffee shop, nor have I turned lead into gold.

Don't get me wrong. I can (and do) make money while I sleep, and I even have systems set up that allow me to make money on "autopilot".

But it's taken me years of trial and error and sleepless nights, and hundreds of hours of hard work to get there.

So if you're not willing to invest 10x more in your business than you think it's going to take, then I'm not your guy.


If you're flat broke, I can't help you.

A lot of people see what I teach as a quick fix to a layoff or bankruptcy. We all fall on hard times and there's no shame in that. But if you've gotten yourself so broke that you can't make rent, then I am not the guy to help you.

I work with current and aspiring entrepreneurs who are in place, both mentally and financially, to take their lives to the next level.

It's not that I can't help you; it's that I won't help you.

Much of what I teach--especially the influence and persuasion stuff--can easily be used for nefarious purposes. I am a man with many faults but I live by one principle. It's very simple and easy to understand:

"We don't hurt people, and we don't take their stuff."

If that statement doesn't resonate with you at your core, then I don't want to work with you.

I started my career in business when I took my skills as a currency trader and launched TradeEmpowered.com.
The list of financial products, experts, gurus and schwamis in the investment and trading niche are too many to number.
Add in financial advisors and money managers and you’ve got a sea of people all vying for your attention.

In 2014, with Trading Empowered humming I decided to launch a podcast focused on libertarian economics and politics. I had never been politically active and had no connection to the political world at all but I felt I had something to say and I wanted to say it.
Within 2 years I had the number one libertarian podcast in the world with over 30,000 daily listeners.
In 2017 I successfully rebranded myself as an investigative journalist to host the hit TV show “The Tesla Files” for History Channel. It was an incredible experience that took me all over the U.S.
Finally, in 2018 I decided to start sharing what I’d learned about creating celebrity, authority and influence by launching JasonStapleton.com.
There are a lot of people who have built brands but very few who have done it 4 times, each time with massive success, in less than 10 years.

So here's my first sales pitch to you:
