Hello again my friend,

We talk a lot about freedom and liberty in this country.

The news is littered with stories of one oppressed group demanding justice from another.

Everyone it seems, feels as though their freedoms are being trampled. Yet few do anything about it.

Oh sure, we protest, we “get out the vote”, fund political parties, even run for political office….but what has that gotten us?

Yesterday I was listening to an interview between Vin Armoni and Mikkel Thorup on Nomadic Living.

Vin has an amazing newsletter called “Counter Markets” that you should defiantly subscribe to.

In it he talks about everything from sustainable living to cryptocurrencies and more.

And because you’re a Daily Alchemy reader he’s offering to give you a free issue.

Go here right now and snag your free copy before the offer expires: https://countermarkets.com/
On the interview Vin said something powerful.

He said, we need to be as good as our words. We need to live our values. If you hate the state, high taxes and oppressive regulation we need to live our values.

Instead of wasting our days on things we can’t change (read: Washington) we should focus on the things we can change. Ourselves!

Panama, Saipan
Costa Rica and Honduras

My focus has always been on creating freedom through more wealth and income mobility. I help folks like you build digital businesses to do just that.

But over the last year with COVID sucking the fun out of nearly everything I’ve begun researching alternatives to American living.

Panama, Saipan, Costa Rica, even Honduras are all on my radar.

My situation is somewhat unique (but who’s isn’t) since my kids don’t live with me. I travel back and forth to see them regularly but a move overseas could seriously impact my time with them.

Nevertheless I’ve started researching alternatives. If I ever do decide to leave, I’ll be well prepared.

What’s Your Plan?

It’s not my intention to shame or guilt you in todays letter, but I do want to challenge you.
What are you doing to live your values?

What steps are you taking to control the things you can while letting go of the things that are out of your control?

In the coming months I’m going to be introducing you to more people like Vin Armoni who are paving the way for the rest of us to follow.

I hope you’ll join me on the journey. It’s gonna be one hell of a ride.

Jason
