How to Get All the FREE Leads You Could Ever Want

Today I’m going to teach you how to get all the FREE leads you could ever want. 

This is not a joke or some big bold claim I can’t back up. 

By the time you finish this letter you’ll know exactly how to do it. 

So if you own a business and you’re struggling to find leads and turn them into buyers, keep reading. 

Most people focus all their time on social media marketing. They don’t realize that just a few years ago there was no facebook and all us old, salty dogs had to be WAY more creative. 

Today social media has an organic reach of .09. That means less than 1% of the people who follow you will see what you post. 

The fall in organic growth means two things for us.

First, it means building a following on social media doesn’t have nearly the impact it once did. 

Second, if you want to get your content seen on social you have to pay to promote it. 

That’s not great if you’re an early-stage entrepreneur with a limited marketing budget.

IF you want to generate a steady stream 
of high quality leads for FREE, 
you gotta go old-school

Heres’ what I want you to do….

1. Make a list of 20-50 people you admire who have noncompetitive but complementary niches

For example, I help entrepreneurs build digital businesses that give them both autonomy and income mobility. 

Most of my clients are into things like alternative currencies, tax mitigation, world travel and connecting with other people who share their love of freedom and liberty. 

Since my expertise is in digital businesses specifically I reached out to a guy named Vin Armoni who is living the life of a digital nomad in Sipan. 

Vin has an AMAZING newsletter called “Counter Markets” that teaches you how to protect your wealth from the State, produce your own food, trade with alternative currencies, form powerful communities of like-minded people, capitalize on opportunities, maneuver through dangerous trends, and preserve your liberty no matter how tyrannical the government or its cronies become.

2. Send them a “cold” message

Once you’ve identified a few people you think would be good partners for you I want you to reach out to them cold. 

You can do this on social media or through email. The important thing is HOW you do it. 

This is what a typical cold outreach message looks like on social media.

No specifics, no idea what she does or what she want’s to get out of the conversation. Apparently, all she wants to do is waste both our time with a directionless phone call. 

I THINK NOT! 

I get dozens of these types of connection request a week on linkedin alone. I’ve never once responded to one. 

Successful people don’t waste their time seeing if “we have a synergy”

Successful people go into a meeting already understanding the potential value and looking to do a deal. 

Here’s how to do it right.

This is a standard outreach message I use when connecting with someone I don’t know.

This is exactly what I did when I reached out to Vin Armoni. 

The steps are as follows:

– Stroke the ego by telling them how much you enjoy what they do. 

– Offer value in advance by giving first before you ask. I do this by offering to bring someone on my podcast or co-host a Clubhouse meeting.

– Offer them several other ways both of you could benefit from joint venture or affiliate relationship.

That’s it!

In this case, the response was almost immediate. We booked the podcast and now we’re getting read to do a list exchange. 

List Exchanges are the 
Primary Way I get FREE Leads

The process is simple, you promote a free product of theirs to your list and they do the same for you.

This works best if your lists are about the same size but it doesn’t really matter. You can always send two emails for every one email they send if your list is half the size. 

It works like gangbusters! Trust me I’ve been doing it for years. 

By reaching out to people you already respect you can promote with confidence. Just like I did with Vin Armoni’s newsletter, Counter Markets

I can’t recommend Vin highly enough. The guy is quickly becoming a living legend. 

And since we have complementary but noncompetitive businesses neither one of us need to worry about losing business. 

It’s a win win for both of us. 

This little trick has generated me tens of thousands of leads over the years and it could mean an extra 20, 50, even 500 leads per connection. 

So get started! Put together 20-50 people you think could provide value to your audience and then start doing a little cold outreach.
