How to React When Things Don’t Go Your Way

when things don't go your way

We’re all trying to make the best decisions we can with incomplete information.

So don’t beat yourself up when things don’t go your way.

Don’t lay awake wondering what you could have done differently.

That’s counter-productive.

There are a lot of parents who spent last night at a hospital…

Hovering over a child’s bed asking that same question.

It’s not their fault either.

Some days things don’t go your way.

Instead of looking backward, look forward.

Ask yourself what you can do today to ensure you make the most of the time you’ve been given.

Let go of the guilt and shame of your past failures…

Recognize that you can’t change the past…

But you can shape the future into whatever you want it to be.
