I have a game I play with my daughter.
Whatever we’re talking about my response is always “That’s my favorite”.
Eating cookies? “Eating cookies is my favorite”.
Walking the dog? “Walking the dog is my favorite”.
Yes it’s stupid but it’s our thing and I love it.
This year Nancy and I are spending Christmas with her family in Northern California. We’re staying with her sister’s family. They just finished building a beautiful new home at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.
As I write you this letter I’m sitting at their kitchen table, sipping coffee while Christmas music plays in the background.
It’s a lot like being a my own private coffee shop. Which makes sense given that they actually own a coffee shop.
This morning I was chatting with her sister and I asked, “So do you have to work today?”
She said, “No, I GET to work today.”
I responded by turning to Nancy and asking, “Does that mean I get to work today too?” She smiled and said, “We’re all working today”.
Working really is my favorite. I love what I do. I love my clients and the impact I get to make on people’s lives. For me working isn’t a chore, it’s a gift.
But for most people working is a grind, something they do to put a roof over their head and food in their belly. So we default to asking questions like, “Do you HAVE to work today?”
Having people in our lives who’ll challenge our frames and support our dreams is critical to our success. It’s the reason I started our 9 Figure Network.

I wanted to create a place where people could come together and challenge each other to dream bigger, work harder and build the life they really want.
How many people in your life will correct you when you ask, “Do you have to work today?”
Given that we are a blending of the 5 people we spend the most time with I hope it’s more than a few.
Merry Christams,
Jason
P.S. I’m not sure how many more letters I’ll get out to you before the end of the year. I’m trying to write very day but as you can imagine, family and festivities are taking priority. But since I love what I do I’d imagine you’ll hear from me at least a few more times before the ball drops.
Wealth health and happiness to you and yours this holiday. May you have many more to share together.
